Plinth exists because the people with the most at stake in a redevelopment - the members of a cooperative housing society - are usually the least equipped with clear, unbiased information.

What we publish

Redevelopment is a long, legally dense process. Builders have lawyers, consultants and experience. Most managing committees have a day job and a WhatsApp group. We try to close that gap with three things: explainers that assume no prior knowledge, calculators that turn a pitch into checkable numbers, and templates a committee can actually use.

Everything is filed against the eight stages of the redevelopment journey, so you can read exactly what is in front of your society right now - not a generic overview.

Who writes it

Plinth is a knowledge initiative led by CA Juilee Palande of J. S. Palande & Co., Chartered Accountants, based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is educational, independent, and not a marketing channel: we don't take builder referrals and we don't recommend specific developers.
